Artists’ Workshop

Since 2006, local artist Brian Leech has hosted a weekly artists’ workshop at Ewell Court House.

Membership is open to anyone who enjoys painting, in any medium or style, and level of ability. The group is friendly, supportive, non-competitive and everyone learns from each other.

The first floor rooms used by the group are also a gallery and can be viewed by the public on house open days. This presents a great opportunity for those who wish to display, and possibly sell, their work. There is also an annual exhibition at Bourne Hall in Ewell Village.

The group contributes toward the income of Ewell Court House, helping to keep this beautiful facility open to the public.

Following the ‘Green Flag’ raising event in the grounds of the house on Saturday 8th September 2012, the Mayor of Epsom and Ewell Borough Council, Councillor Christine Long, was invited to view the Artists’ Workshop Gallery. Accompanied by Brian Leech, the group’s founder and host of the weekly workshop, she expressed her appreciation of the paintings and the work of the group in general.
